Hey, guys! Congratulations, you made it through Week One Hundred Forty-Five. Now, how did that make you feel?
First order of business, it’s Sunday, and time for reset. It’s another boring week in Facility 1.
The test for week 146 is a body part Easter egg hunt. Every character will lose a body part, writer's choice. This can be a hand, a nose, an eye, whatever. The part is simply missing with skin grown over the area like it was never there (no blood or wound). Somewhere in the facility is their missing body part. They have to find it and have it with them come reset to have it reattached. If it's not with them at reset, it will not be reattached and they'll be out of luck. The body parts are hidden at random, so there is nothing stopping characters from finding other people's limbs. A writer has control over who finds their character's body parts, so ask permission before assuming your character finds any part that is not their own. They will also need to make sure they have the body parts that actually belong to them.
For characters currently missing body parts, there is an optional extra step. If the writer would like, they can find the body part that was taken for the experiment, and if they keep hunting they can find the body part that they are currently missing. If they have both of those body parts with them at reset, both will be reattached. Limited to one extra body part per character.
For our new writers, hello! Welcome aboard, feel free to ask questions. These days, most of the chats take place on AIM in 'facilitychat', so feel free to go there for your plotting needs.
