[There's really nothing giving away the user's identity except for the occasional flash of gold eyes from under a hood as he looks over the 'berry. He knows it's doing something...but he doesn't know what.]

This thing is impossible. [There we go, an Allen.] How can it even function properly?

[gliding drifting APPEARING walking up silently behind Allen, and peers over his shoulder. another set of gold eyes! though Kanda's not wearing a good, so it's not hard to figure out who he is.]

..Modern technology?

[Allen lifts his head, not startled at all from his roommate's sudden appearance. You don't sneak very well.]

More modern than my time. Nothing we have is this small.

Other golems, then. The black ones with the wings. [no, Kanda's not going to mime a butterfly and make himself look like a fool.] The Order uses them.

No... No golems at all at home. I've seen them, though. [Pauses] Kanda, did you have a collar on earlier?

You can't type on golems, though. [this tiny keyboard is so ridiculously tiny and odd--

Maybe it's just for looks... [More to himself than to Kanda, pressing one.

Then he pauses, hand going up to his own throat to the blood red collar. This close Kanda might be able to hear the vampire stiffening horribly. He doesn't like this.]

[fff LIGHT UP SNEAKERS yessss-- but that's not very sneaky. 8(]

[he can sense it, even if he can't hear it. Kanda himself hasn't had any bad experiences with collars in particular...]

Allen glances at Kanda again, hand worrying at the collar.] Don't they usually put these things on slaves or subjects?
