[See, Tim is in 33 and about ready to be rid of his own television--he just turned his off though. Seeing this one in the hallway is a little frustrating. What a mess.
[He leans to look through the Suite 34 door, brows furrowing at bit at the sight of Alex.]
YES does this mean we can get a puppy?faultlessconMay 16 2011, 05:51:00 UTC
[He grimace, steps further in and moves to place this television in the closet because TALL AWKWARD ENGLISH BOY = WEAK ARMS. Come on in Tim, don't mind the empty space.]
I don't see them often, so saying yes or no wouldn't be a straight answer.
ougad, fine, fineredripoffMay 16 2011, 05:59:35 UTC
You need people in this place. [Haha hypocrite, wut? The pot slips back into the common room space, sweeps just in front of Alex to pop open the closet door.] They keep you from smashing one-too-many TV sets. You're backed, if you need it?
oh wait! how does Alex feel about bats? redripoffMay 16 2011, 06:08:46 UTC
Technology, among other things during the worse weeks. Obviously. [His eyes flicker down to the busted set before he eases the door shut on it.] Mostly for maintenance of sanity--it's good to be in safe with at least the people in your proximity.
cr posts? who DOES that? #toolazytodoit redripoffMay 16 2011, 06:38:59 UTC
That's likely for the best, considering their access to our inner workings. [At "their," he circles one finger in the air, indicating a reference to the facility and staff. Of course, Alex makes him only marginally less nervous than the staff here. A couple of things still bother him about this kid, but as long as they're talking about friends and enemies, he'll keep in mind his concepts of close and closer.]
I guess you're still getting used to this place; hope you haven't had too rough of a time of it.
UM kids who love bats and m-me? /slinks awayfaultlessconMay 16 2011, 06:42:34 UTC
[More staring! Because who doesn't love that? Though it does hint that Alex hasn't been told nearly half of what he really should know about the place.]
Honestly? Last week was almost a refresher compared to the one before and this one. Though, the bright red buttons I am... cautious of.
I think everyone has come to take it as they will. There's a strong possibility it's exactly what Val says it is--a way out of the experiments. I don't think that I could blame anyone for trying to take it. [Although that was certainly not the point of Slick's demonstration.]
[He leans to look through the Suite 34 door, brows furrowing at bit at the sight of Alex.]
This yours?

I appreciate the notion, honest. Hopefully I need them for more than preventing the destruction of technology.

It's been pretty bad in the past, I'm guessing?

That... can go far. Think I'll let my imagination stay where it is.
