I suppose so. Well, dark magic... It's the sort that can hurt people, that does things that just don't end well. It can murder, control and cause excruciating pain. It's curses and the like, all the things that you'd rather not happen to yourself.

Precisely. There are those that'll use it against others, and that shouldn't happen. A lot of it is near impossible to defend against.
