[Footsteps sound, running upon a hollow stage set scene for what seems a play empty of any design, any presence. The audience is absent, the script never read. Dust collects and with breath from damp lips, it shifts upon the air. (
A quickened cut to pitch black and then a faint light illuminates. )
Oh.] . . . Yes?
[Hey, Timothy.]

Ah--hey, Alex. [He replied with an exhale of air.] Sorry about that.

It's alright, just wasn't expecting it. Do you need something?

I was actually coming by to ask if you have seen or heard from Klarion recently.

Ah, he's fine now with Minako's help - him and Teekl. He talked to me a day or so ago.

That's good. I have not been able to get a hold of him so I wanted to make sure he was alright. I figured you had heard from him.

Considering I stayed with him till he woke up, it was a good guess. [He breathes in and well - can't leave the conversation quiet, unfortunately.] How have you been?

[There is a bitter jealousy there for anyone who has been able to--and seemingly lately the numbers start to rise of those who can't. At the question though, he turns to look at the other then forward once more.] I've been fine, as good as it's going to be. What about you? I saw you had one dream then haven't heard from you sense. You staying awake?

Me? I... It's more of the matter that I can't sleep. [Especially if he's gonna get interrogated again by Tim, and especially because he doesn't want to see his ex-roommate when he opens his eyes again.] You saw the dream - it's one I'd rather not have again.

Yeah, nightmares can keep anyone from sleeping. No one can blame you after something like that.

One can only wonder what next weeks hold with how some are. That was your first cast, wasn't it?

Everyone doing that, then? [He stops at the fork, looks to Timothy - which way? He's just following.]

So far that's what everyone seems to be doing.

Wish I could do that. It's been working for you, huh?
