Just wanted to say thank you for those of you that helped me out lately. I owe you one.

Normally, if the saying is true--I would owe you a drink but I think that's well taken care of with the way this week has been going. Though I suppose it would be way easier to offer one now if I had to.

I don't drink, unfortunately for you so that kind of thanks won't fit.

[He stops.] You're doing better then?

[faultlesscon]

You, that's what I want you to say. [He motions with his head in the other's direction.]

You've hardly any defensive wounds so you either didn't fight back because you let him or he knocked you unconscious. [He pauses.] That, or it was a one-sided thing, and you felt bad.

[Getting close to hitting the nail on the head there Alex but you're more smashing his fingers.] I fought back in the beginning but once he got the upper hand it kind of went downhill.

Asides, I didn't want to hurt him--I wanted to try to keep my control over the situation.

[He doesn't know enough to do that kind of damage, forgive his lack of subtlety in their friendship. So some staring, and he nods.]

You've a lot of self-control then, considering what happened. You've had experience with having to restrain yourself?

[A pause.] I guess you could say that, yeah.

That's admirable. [In some cases - it's just a quiet musing.]

- But stupid at the same time, considering what's happened.

I'm just used to it. [He lets out a huff of breath.]

Natural instinct kind of thing, whatever.

[Gonna stare at the door so you can't see him roll his eyes.]

Self-preservation, except to others?

[Just ignoring that and responding with a shrug of the shoulders.]

Right, let's move on since you're not a fan of this conversation. [He shrugs in return.]

[He's eager to step away from it.] Tell me more about yourself, maybe?

None of it's that interesting, but what do you want to know?

What did you want to do with your life before you came here?

[faultlesscon]

[He leans his head back to look at Timothy.] That's a good question, to be honest. I never really gave it much thought.

[bridalgownwings]

[Arching an eyebrow he looks down over the side of the bed at the other.] Some people don't.

Were you just too busy to consider it?

action.

[faultlesscon]

I was pushed towards good grades, high reputation, things of that sort.

Didn't want it, so I just didn't think on it much.
