Everyone's either paranoid, insane, screwed up, or not even themselves.

[It's a mutter under his breath when the feed comes to life - it's pointed at his sneakers which step back and out of view. As the faciliberry lens moves and lifts, everyone can see the damage done to the room; the bed is flipped and up, drooping against the wall like a ( Read more... )

[Damian's been out and about, as he often is now that he has a roommate. An unagreeable roommate. When he opens the suite door he only hears the last of Alex's words, but, the remaining injuries don't go without remiss. He walks half way towards 34A, before pausing.]

The communicators aren't very 'considerate'. I would recommend covering the camera with tape, or disabling the audio, but that would just cause further problems, when you would require them later.

[He hears the shouting and ruckus, unagreeable doesn't even begin to start with it. Looking up, he gives a nod.]

The worst it does is give a complete lack of privacy - I'll live. [A pause.] This week been fair to you?

[That's a word for it! Those boys start a 'ruckus.']

Zanotto's taken to dropping hers in her sock drawer. Which works well enough. [He pauses too, in thought, his own faciliberry is in his hand. Fingers suddenly engaged in turning it in his palms. Damian usually isn't one for careless movements.]

I am unaffected, thus far. You?

We could all learn from her, most likely. [A ruckus with blood and family problems and shouting and-- yeah.]

Bursts of violence that I can't explain, so far. [He lifts both of his hands to show off the bloody knuckles and nails.] It's helping figure out this week, somewhat.

Hm. [A small affirmative nod.]

[He takes in the information, looking at the damage. He doesn't seem worried.] Curious. Drake appears to be an amnesic, and there are curious other symptoms I've noted. They seem psyche-based. [he hasn't watched Alex's video, he doesn't know the other boy has come to the same thought.]

[A nod and he points to the 'berry - a hint at what he said beforehand.] Paranoia, pyromania, sleep-deprivation even.

They're all around that general area, and it's Tuesday, so its safe to say it is just that.

Ah. [He nods. pleased at least that Alex isn't stuuuupid.]

[Although he seems a bit perturbed, not having picked up on his own psychosis.]

Indeed. Do I-- Do I seem affected, to you?

You're talking to me a bit more, if that's what you mean. [Bad attempt at a joke but he sits up a little to scrutinize him.]

... Not so much, but I haven't been in your company long enough to tell. Have you had any problems?

Tt. You've proven to be an unmovable object. Or at least, one that doesn't require instant removal.

[hm. He doesn't drop the mildly concerned look, but, it's mostly guarded.] No. I feel unfazed.

What does it take to fit the latter? [He raises a brow and sits up against the couch. He means it as a joke but then shakes his head, lets out a breath to the answer.]

If something happens, don't hide it.

Hmph. Not much.

You're giving advice now?

faultlesscon June 24 2011, 07:32:58 UTC
Not advice, honesty.

I'd rather know if something's wrong with you than find out you've gone and offed yourself without warning.

Don't expect more.

[Good thing this isn't happening after he finds out about Dick's 'issues.' Would have set him off.] If that were the case, it's something you shouldn't concern yourself with. Why would you?

[Good thing for both of them, he'd say.] You're a suitemate, and I think I've made it apparent that I do hold concern.

To an extent, if you want.

There are other suitemates. Being one does not immediately foster a companionship.

But why? [INTENSE STARE.]
