Sounds fair. Ah... I'm Alex. [Once he's done cleaning the blood, he directs her to look at him so he can wrap the bandages around the wounds while avoiding the collar as best he can.]

That's a word for it. I wasn't here two weeks ago, so I suppose I wouldn't know, but if I had been, I certainly would have come to do my part.
And I will be. From now on. [Her face looks dead set. She doesn't care if she can't collect souls here, can't help them along, she'll do whatever she damn well could for these people.]

You would have been a polite host, then. And you are going to be, if that's the case. [A nod and he just about finishes, checks his work.] Those should be changed regularly - when you take the bandages off, do it slowly so you don't break the wound again.
