Why not? Fear is a natural emotion to something painful and disorienting that you have not experienced in the past, isn't it?

[faultlesscon]

It is, but don't look at it like that.

If you die, you're just going away for a little while. You said you'll be back so what is there to worry for?

[dyingwings]

I fear the pain in my passing, and the helplessness to prevent it. I fear that I may cause harm to my friends by spreading this poison accidentally, or some other means I did not intend.

Fear is a natural thing, and it's what's keeping me from acting foolishly and endangering the lives of others.

Some things cannot be changed--if it doesn't happen to you, it may happen to someone else.
