You... most of you know. The Consortium is going to destroy us. The whole station. And everyone with it. To those people here freshly arrived - I'm sorry you had to hear it that way, but it's the truth.
But it doesn't have to be.
They've tried to contain us. We're stronger than them. They've taken potshots, humiliated us... tried to break us. And sometimes, we thought they may have succeeded.
But you know what? They didn't. Even if some of you think they did... I know they didn't. I've been here a year. And there's always been a reason a fight. To keep pressing on! And now more than ever.
I'm sorry for what happened, in Hope's End - but now now guys, that hope isn't done for yet. We have one more shot, we have our last chance. And this time, it's freedom... or death.
I've not exactly gotten by without my share of deaths. Both here and at home. Any of my friends can tell you that... but they'd also probably tell you I never stopped looking for a way to win, even when the situation was hopeless.
That's what we have to do here and now. And I'm scared. Ii'm not sure if I'm ever been more scared in all my life.
But are we just going to sit here and die? [He grits his teeth, staring sternly into the camera.] Not a chance! The situation isn't ever doomed to failure!
What we need now is to get ready to strike one more time.
We need people to get ready, because if they think they're just going to finish us off, they've got another thing coming. We'll need to secure the self-destruct sequence, the airlock, a bunch of mission-critical systems... we're going to need fighters, and stealth types, and hackers.
You know... it's just easier to say we need everyone. This isn't about one person, or a small group of people anymore. Like it or not, this is for the fate of everyone trapped here.
We're going to have an opening. Val will be giving us one right when next week hits - after that... ten minutes to stop the self destruct, and we're flying by the seat of our pants from there.
We need to be ready to break the ceiling of the second floor. Val will be handling making sure we have the power to break through, no sweat, and leaving the station open. That's where all the different goals factor in.
If we're not getting out, the least we can sure as hell do is take over.
I'm only a kid. I never expected to be.. standing here like this. Saying this all to everyone... people I never thought I'd meet! But, here I am. And here we are; we've got to stand and fight as one. Allied together, there's not anyone who can stop us.
