How to give proper credit.
Here are a few things you should know about giving proper credit.
For icons:Crediting a person for making an icon for you is really very simple.When editing your usericons you will see a little box that says comments. Simply put made by: exampleuser or made by: exampleuser @

For Blinkies, Headers, Sigs, or anything else: Not all makers are agreed on proper credit for the many types of images out there. In my honest opinion hover credit is more than enough and so that is all I require. This is done with the alt option in your image code. By placing made by: minutes_of_me @ a_fallenstar as your alt text people can hover over the image and see who made it.

For resources used: When you're sharing graphics, it's hard to provide credit for every single thing in every single post. It's not very practical either. So most people have a master list containing credit for all the resources the commonly use. For example, my resource list can be found here. If you decide to download any resources I post, it would be nice if you linked to me in your resource list.
