ONE more chicken for the coop
I had to write a poem about V-Day in my IT class. Thought it was good so I'm posting it here I promise you it's amusing.
*clears throat*
To someone special
Happy Valentine's Day!
I didn't know what to get you,
seeing as I do not wish to pay.
Most give candies or chocolates
But for you, I have nothing so sweet.
Since tommorow they're half off
You can buy them for yourself to eat.
Some give roses or an alternative flower
But the ones sold are too high priced.
So I thought I pick them free of charge,
but it's February and the ground is iced.
So frustrated I sought out advice.
Most suggest I make you a card.
As long as I give you all my heart
Well making a card just seemed too hard.
Yet I tried to see what I could muster
I managed a poem, don't ask me how?
And since I need my heart
Instead I give you one from a cow.
