Off to the Park!

Once the wee!ones were clean and dressed -- and amazingly, for some reason there were two sets of toddler-sized clothes at hand, one with little holes in the shirt for wee wings -- Aziraphale and Wilson had calmed down considerably, even giving the appearance of being ready to behave themselves and keep out of mischief.

Woe to anyone who fell for that ruse.

Sticking his tongue out at Rodney with a 'So there!' expression, Aziraphale let himself be dragged off by his little friend. There were lots of places to run around in and hide in at this park.

And things to chase, too. Like Wilson. Whom Aziraphale poked in the arm and giggled at, and then took off running.

She tried to explain to Dawn. "Well, you see. One of the two children? Is my boss. At the hospital. Or, well, sort of my boss. And the other? Is his boy--" She cut off, trying not to laugh at the new image. "His guy Aziraphale."

Dawn shook her head, a little surprised by that answer. "No...um, the one that expresses a desire or request," she elaborated. No power on this or any other world would make her say that word. She'd learned her lesson. "Throw a penny in a well, and you might get one. Or rub a genie's lamp."

"Don't say that word!" Dawn hissed, looking around as if expecting a lightning strike or worse. "Never, ever use that word!"

She turned to the girl, "Why is that word a problem?"

Lana raised her eyebrows. "Um... okay." She glanced over at Rodney, sure he was rolling his eyes at all this. "I'm Lana, by the way. Nice to meet you."

She would be right. He rolled his eyes at them. All of this, actually. Wishing he were anywhere else. But he was stuck here. At least as long as he didn't want to explain why he was upset.

She glanced over at Rodney. He seemed particularly out of sorts - even for him. She stepped a little closer and spoke to him quietlynot registering what Cassie had said. "Is everything all right?"
