You Hurting Yourself, Lee Sungmin
“Lee Sungmin!” Shouted Ryeowook
after they were out from auditorium.
Sungmin who walked with her
brother and her twin, turned around. She smiled when knew the person who called
her is her bestfriend. “Ryeowookieeeee!”
“You!” Ryeowook said pointing her
finger. “How dare you hiding from me? Why are you not telling me that you’re in
Seoul? When you arrived from New York? And you’re Lee Soo Man’s niece? Why you
not telling me this? And why you not telling me if you go to SM audition?”
Ryeowook’s face is red because she asked in one breath.
“Relax, Kim Ryeowook, relax.”
Sungmin said. “I’ll answer your question one by one. I arrived last week and I don’t
know you’ll come to SM auditon too. About me who is Soo Man’s niece, you never
ask me that. And the reason why I’m not telling you about my action to going
back here … it’s a sudden thing actually. We haven’t tell our friends or our
relations about our arrival in Seoul. We’ve been busy to unpack thing. Since
there’s a lot of package that we bring from New York.”
Ryeowook suddenly hugged Sungmin
very thight. “I miss you, Sungmin-ah.” Sungmin hugged back her bestfriend and
smiled. “Me miss you too, Ryeowookie.”
Little did they know, there’s a
person who watched them from a far. “Lee Sungmin, you’re back.”

“I’m home.” Sungmin said while
closing the door behind her.
“Young lady, you’re home.” One of
house maid said. She take Sungmin’s jacket and hanged it.
“Where’s Hyuk and Hae? Is Mom
already home?”
“Young Master Hyukjae and Young
Master Donghae haven’t arrived yet. I think they’re going out with their friends. Yes, Mrs. Lee
is at her room now.”
“I see, I’m going to my room
then.” Then Sungmin walked to her room at 2nd floor. She humming her
favourite song while recalling the time when she’s in auditorium.
“…That talented kids who have a
perfect score in singing are Cho Kyuhyun, Kim Ryeowook and Kim Jongwoon.” Soo
Man said, everybody is clapping their hand. I’m shocked when I heard that name.
Cho
Kyuhyun? He’s here?
“Sungmin-ah, is Cho Kyuhyun whose
Soo Man uncle said just now is your Kyuhyun?” Donghae asked. The word of “your
Kyuhyun” made my heart beating so fast. Yes, he’s my Kyuhyun back then. When
we’re still together, we’re loving each other and always going out together.
But I broke his heart when he said that he loved me and he wanted us to be an
official couple. I loved him, so much, but I don’t think I’m ready to have a
long distance relationship. It’ll just makes me hurt because I’ll miss him so
much. So I told him that I can’t accept his love and told him that I’ll leave
Seoul for 3 years to study in New York. I can see he tried to not cry at that
time, but seeing his painful and sadly face made me cry and hugged him at the
end.
“I don’t know, Hae. Maybe he’s
another Kyuhyun. Not ‘my Kyuhyun’” I said almost in whisper.
“Cho Kyuhyun … is that really you?”
I mumbled before opening my door room. I was shocked when opened my room, there,
standing a very familiar person who backfacing me. A familiar body who always
gave me a piggyback. He turned around and smiled to me. His beautiful smile that I missed for the past
3 years.
“Minnie, long time no see.”
“Kyu … w-what … are … you doing
here?”

“Once again, please give applause
to my lovely nephew … Lee Donghae, Lee Hyukjae and Lee Sungmin.” Wait … Lee Sungmin. That name sounds
familiar to me.
Everybody is clapping their hands
while me just staring blankly. Lee Sungmin
… that Sungmin? My bunny? Is she comeback already?
I turned around to ensured that.
She was sat in the middle, her brothers sat at her right and her left side.
Yes, she’s the same Lee Sungmin. Her pouty lips, her foxy eyes and her bunny
teeth that appeared when she smiled.
“Kyuhyun-ah, do you know her?”
Seohyun’s word hit me back to the reality. “Ah? No … I d-don’t know her.” I
said with a little nervous. Then I turned my head and looked towards Mr. Soo
Man again.
I was walked in hall when someone
called me. “Kyuhyun-ah.” I turned around and saw Hyukjae ran towards me. He’s
alone, he must be wanted to talk about Sungmin with me.
“Hyung … It’s been 3 years since
our last meet.” I said once he standing in front of me. “Yes, it’s been 3 years
Kyu. How are you? I’m shocked when know you’re entering SM academy too. Your
voice is really beautiful Kyu, that’s why SM accept you. You should enter SM
academy from a long time ago you know.” Hyukjae said tapped my shoulder. Then
we walked through hall way while chating and laughing. I miss him like I miss
Minnie. I’ve been consider Hyuk as my own brother since I met him 6 years ago.
“Kyuhyun-ah, did you miss Min?”
Hyukjae’s question made me stop walked. “Hyung … why you suddenly asked that?
Of course I miss her.” I stared him with confused eyes.
“Do you know, Kyu? Sungmin always
cry while hugged your picture in the first two weeks when we just arrived in
New York. She always called your name in her sleep. I always told her to calling
your phone, but she didn’t want to. Now, after 3 years … She finally met you again. And you already
have a girlfriend. I just want you to be nice with Sungmin, Kyu. I don’t want
to see my sister feeling hurt.”
“W-wait .. What? A girlfriend?
You mean Seohyun? She’s not my girlfriend. She just friends who always clinging
into me, Hyung.” I explained. “Oh, I think she’s your girlfriend. But … forget
about that. Go meet your Minnie after practice. She must be shocked if see you
at our home.” Hyukjae grinned.
“Is it okay if I’m visiting your
house?” Hyukjae laughed and made me confused. “Of course it’s okay. You and
Minnie have known each other from 6 years ago, my parents also knew you. So
it’s okay, you like to visit our house back then. Minnie will happy to see
you.” Hyukjae assured me. After that, Hyukjae went to dancing studio to
practice with Donghae. School is ended already, but he wanted to practice more.
Yes, Hyukjae hyung and Donghae are freak with dancing. But I don’t know that
Sungmin can dance too, once I saw her practice with her brothers. And I think
she’s just playing for fun.
I parked my car at the side way
of her house, I don’t want Sungmin know that I visit her home. I pushed the
intercome once I reached her house gate. “Hello, I want to meet Mrs. Lee.” I
said.
“Who’s this?”
“I’m Cho Kyuhyun.” Then the gate
is open and I walked to the front door. One of her maid gretted me once I
entering her house.
“Long time no see, Young Master
Kyuhyun.” She said bowed her head.
“Kyuhyunnie?” Sungmin’s mom
appeared and smiled. “Hello, auntie.” I smiled and bowed my head. Auntie Lee
approached me and hugged me. “I miss you, Kyuhyunnie.”
“I miss you too, auntie.” I
hugged her back. Auntie Lee then released her hug and smiled, “You must be want
to meet Minnie?”
“Yes, auntie. Is she at home?”
“Nope, she told me that she will
come late. But you can wait her in her room like usual, Kyu.”
“Ah … I see. Thank you auntie.” I
bowed my head once again and smiled.
“Nah~~ no problem, Kyuhyunnie.
I’ve been consider you as my son already, soon you’ll be my son too.” I blushed
when heard auntie Lee’s word. “Okay, I must back to work in the kitchen. Just
go upstair, Kyuhyunnie.” She tapped my shoulder and went to kitchen.
I walked to Sungmin’s room
slowly, her room is at 2nd floor between her brothers room. There’s
a picure of her hanged on her door, I slowly opened her room’s door. Her room
is still the same, her bed, her wallpaper is all in pink. I went to her bed and
saw a pink bunny pushie, the one that I gave in her birthday. “She still keep
it.” I mumbled and smiled.
Then I walked to her desk,
there’s a picture of me and her when we were to beach. I remember that day, I
kissed her for the very first time after took that picture. The first time I
said ‘I love you’ to her. Her face is blushed and I think that’s a cutest thing
ever. I smiled when recalling that moment.
Suddenly I heard someone opened
the door, I turned around and saw Minnie standing there with a shocked
expression. I smiled, “Minnie … Long time no see.”
“Kyu … w-what … are … you doing
here?”

“Kyu … w-what … are … you doing
here?” Sungmin asked in shocked tone.
Kyuhyun then approached Sungmin and
caressed her cheek, “I miss you, Lee Sungmin. I miss you so much until I can’t
breath.” Then Kyuhyun hugged Sungmin tightly and kissed Sungmin’s hair.
Sungmin just stood still, don’t
know how to react. Deep inside her heart she missed Kyuhyun so much too. She
then slowly hugged Kyuhyun back and sobbed softly in his chest. “I … miss you
too, Kyu.” Sungmin said between her sob.
Kyuhyun patted her head to
confort her, how he missed her scent and her body in his arms. Suddenly he
kissed Sungmin’s lips, made the latter shocked. He put his hands in her cheek
and nibbled Sungmin’s lower lips. Sungmin reflex opened her mouth and let
Kyuhyun’s tongue invading her. She removed her hand into Kyuhyun’s neck and
hugged it tightly.
Sungmin then found herself
already lying on her bed with Kyuhyun above her. Kyuhyun keep kissing her lips
passionately, they parted when they lacked for air. Kyuhyun moved to kiss
Sungmin’s neck, made a soft moan from Sungmin. He licked and sucked Sungmin’s
neck, giving a mark on it. Kyuhyun’s right hand start to unbuttoned Sungmin’s outfit
to gave him a better way to kissed Sungmin’s body. He pulled Sungmin’s outfit a
little to exposed her shoulder, he started to kissed and licked it.
“Ahh … Kyu.” Kyuhyun’s hand
slipped under Sungmin’s outfit and caressed her back. Kyuhyun once again attacked
Sungmin’s lips and slipped his tongue. His hand keep caressing her back while
the other caressing her thigh. Sungmin unconsciously start to unbuttoned
Kyuhyun’s outfit.
“Lee Sungmin, New York really
changed you huh?” Kyuhyun teased once he pulled apart, Sungmin blushed and
pouted. “What are you talking about? I’m not change, I still the same Lee
Sungmin.”
“Really? I don’t believe that.”
Again, Kyuhyun kissed Sungmin lips and sucked it.
Knock .. Knock ..
“Young lady Sungmin, Young master
Kyuhyun, dinner is ready.” One of Sungmin’s maid said. It made Kyuhyun pulled
his lips from Sungmin. “Ah yes, we’ll be right there.” Sungmin said. Kyuhyun
then got up and sat properly in Sungmin’s bed. Sungmin got up while buttoning
her outfit and tied her hair again. She then looked at Kyuhyun who smirked.
“Why are you smirking like that?”
“Nothing.” Kyuhyun said simply.
When Sungmin climbed down from her bed and want to walked to the door Kyuhyun
grabbed her wrist and hugged her. “We’ll continue this after dinner.” Kyuhyun
whispered in Sungmin’s ear. Sungmin blushed and released herself from Kyuhyun’s
arms.
“We … we should … g-g-going
downstair now.” Sungmin stuttered.

“Hello … Ji Eun-ah~~”
“Sungmin-ah … how are you? I miss
you already in here, how’s your day? I heard that today is your first day in SM
Academy, right?” Ji Eun, one of Sungmin bestfriend in New York called her. Ji
Eun-her stage name is IU-is Korean too, but she went abroad to enter Art School
in New York. She was in the same class with Sungmin and start to hanged out
together when knew that Sungmin was from Korea too.
“My day is fine, today my uncle
is announced to everyone who passed SM audition that I and my brothers are his
nephew.” Sungmin paused to let a deep sigh.”Bet they’ll treat me differently.”
“Hahahaha don’t be like that,
Sungmin-ah. You even haven’t start your trainee time yet.”
“Yes, I know. How’s your day? And
how about your relationship with Wooyoung-ssi? Is it going well?”
There’s no answer from Ji Eun and
Sungmin start to worried, “Yaa Ji Eun-ah, why are you not talking? Is there
something wrong with you and Wooyoung-ssi?”
“Nothing, it’s just …”
“Just what, Ji Eun-ah? You start
to making me worried now.”
“Ehm … we … we’re kissing today.”
“WHAT? FOR REAL JI EUN?”
“Yes … today we went to amusement
park and we went to ferris wheel. When we almost reached the top, he leaned
closer to me and kissed me.”
“OH MY GOD … That’s so sweet Ji
Eun-ah~~ I told you Wooyoung-ssi is a romantic person.”
“Yes I know. It’s your turn now,
Sungmin-ah. How about Kyuhyun? I heard that he went to SM Academy too. Is that
right?”
“Yes … I met him, he went to my
house just now.”
“WHAT? That soon? I think you
want to avoide him, Sungmin-ah.”
“Yes I know that, Ji Eun-ah.”
Sungmin paused. “It’s just … I can’t hold my feeling towards him, I missed him
so much for 3 years and when I met him, he went to hugged me. And … we did
that.”
“Did that? Did …” Ji Eun paused,
she gasped after that. “Lee Sungmin, don’t tell me that you making love with
Cho Kyuhyun?” Ji Eun asked with shocked tone.
“What? Of course not, we’re just
making out.” Sungmin said in whisper. “Why are you whispering to me?”
“Geez, this kid. You really not
change after all, Ji Eun-ah.”
“Hahahaha I’m kidding, Lee
Sungmin. Don’t be mad.”
“No, I’m mad at you. I need to
sleep now, bye~~” Sungmin then hanged up her phone and turned off her lamp.
Soon she fell asleep while hugged her pink bunnie.
“What the hell,where are they
going? Why are they left me? And hell yeah, they used my car!?” Sungmin cursed
when saw her car is gone and her two brothers left her alone without a ride to
go to SM Academy.
“I’m so sorry to not telling you,
Young Lady. Young Master Hyukjae told me to keep silent.” Kana, one of
Sungmin’s maid said.
“It’s okay, Kana unnie. It’s not
your fault. I’ll just take the taxi then.” When Sungmin was about to call the
taxi, there’s a Black Hyundai Sonata went came to her house.
“Cho Kyuhyun … what is he doing?” Sungmin thought.
Kyuhyun parked his car right in
front of her, “Let’s go together, Min.” He said through the opened window.
“W-what? Going together? Why
should i?” Sungmin asked. “You have no car to ride on and it’ll take some money
if you ride taxi to SM academy.” Kyuhyun answered.
Sungmin hesitated to took Kyu’s
offer or not, but suddenly Kyu’s got out from his car and dragged Sungmin to
passenger seat. They were silent during their trip to SM Academy. Once their
reached SM Academy, Kyuhyun held Sungmin’s hand before she can got out from his
car.
“Let’s go together to class.”
Kyuhyun said. Sungmin just silent, she then found Kyuhyun already opened the
door beside her and held her hand. Along their way to the class, Kyuhyun held
Sungmin’s hand like she would disappeared.
“K-kyu … why you hold my hand
like this?” Sungmin asked, her face is blushing like tomato. Everyone is
staring to them and whispering something. Kyuhyun stopped his step and turn
around.
“Why, Min? I just don’t want to
lose you again.” Sungmin got teary when heard Kyuhyun’s word, she can saw the
loneliness in Kyuhyun’s eyes. Sungmin then released her hand and avoided
Kyuhyun’s eyes.
“I s-should go to washroom now.”
Then Sungmin leave Kyuhyun and walked fast while try to held her tears.

“I just don’t want to lose you again”
Kyuhyun’s word keep echoing in my
head. I keep washing my face, trying to make that word go away. But it doesn’t
work. I saw my reflection in washroom’s mirror, tears flowing continuously. I
wipe my tears and washed my face once again.
Then a girl entered the washroom
and shocked when saw my face. “Ah .. you must be Lee Sungmin right?”
I turn around, “Yes, I’m Lee
Sungmin. Do I know you?” I asked while wiped my face with tissue.
“I’m Choi Sooyoung. I’m Kyu’s
friend from Senior High School.” She said, her face is so serious. I stopped to
wipe my face when heard Sooyoung’s word. “Kyu’s
friend?”
“I saw you holding hand with
Kyuhyun when you enter SM Academy. I just want to warn you, Sungmin-ssi. Be
careful, don’t let yourself fall in love in Kyuhyun. He just playing with you.”
“Why are you saying like that,
Sooyoung-ssi?” I’m curious now. Is Kyuhyun really change?
“Because …” She paused, she hide
her face and stared to the floor. “I was one of them who had asked out by
Kyuhyun.” She finished her sentence almost in whispered.
I only stared blankly to her. “So, this is true? Kyuhyun changed when I
went to New York?”
