Personality: Sollux is considered an introvert because he doesn't talk to people off of the internet that much, and he doesn't talk to them on the internet much either. He stays quiet in his hive and mostly works on codes. Sometimes, however, others talk to him and he talks to them, but not really that much unless it's needed, such as when he made Sgrub using the ruins Aradia found and needed team members. He despises doing anything that might be juvenile or immature which is a reason why he refused to talk to any of the humans. He's extremely mature and intelligent for someone his age so it's hard to catch him doing anything childish at all. If him and Karkat get in any kind of immature conversation, he completely forgets it happened and deletes it from his log.
He also has bipolar disorder, which throws him into humiliating and debilitating mood swings. If he was in the middle of doing something and he's hit by a mood swing, anyone can tell easily that he was, such as when he's mad, he types in caps. An example of this is when he was talking to Karkat about how he didn't want to play Sgrub anymore, and where it's clear that he was really starting to get on Solux's nerves:

He's got a pretty dark disposition on life and can be rather pessimistic, partially due to the fact that he sees glimpses of the future, and he knows that they're all going to die. He also hears the screams of the imminently dead. Therefore, he hears the voices of people who are about to die. He's gotten used to ignoring them, but it's still depressing none the less. Furthermore, he doesn't sugar coat anything - he'll tell you the deal even if it's depressing. Along with his dark disposition, he hates himself and is always putting himself down, exaggerating a lot of things about himself. There are two colors under yellow in the troll's caste system, but Sollux tends to think of himself lower than everyone else, because what could be lower than yellow? He also tends to act like he's the hottest shit ever, such as when he was recruiting Karkat for the game:

During a tense or awkward moment, he usually tries to lighten the mood by pulling ridiculous puns, though usually they're really bad and make everyone just sigh. Despite these attempts at some humor, Sollux has a poker face. He doesn't like to talk to anyone about how he's feeling - even Karkat as - they are a sore topic for Sollux. He tries all he can to keep them concealed and hates it when people talk about them. For example, when he and Feferi were talking about his feelings after Aradia died, Kanaya came over to talk to them and Feferi stated that Sollux was feeling upset over Aradia's death since she was Sollux's very good friend. Sollux got irritated and snapped at Feferi, stating this:
"HOLY SHIT, yes let's talk about all of my problems openly, I LOVE that. Hey KK, check this out, my emotions are serving as entertainment again!"
One more thing about Sollux is that he is a very, very sarcastic person and tends to use sarcasm almost 24/7. An example of his sarcasm:
