writing guitar parts is both fun and frustrating. i know exactly what it is i want to convey, but i dont have enough of a grasp of the circle of 5ths, note intervals, etc. to really know how to convey it. i dont have this problem on drums. this is why i am a drummer.

yeah it's strange to look back at when I knew nothing about guitar, like I can't even imagine not being able to hear two notes and know whether or not they belong in the same key.

Just throw numbers into tab it until it sounds good.

i play drums cause they go boom and i only have to count to four, fuck all that fifths shit. i cant even draw a circle. haha.
