I've been off line this week - hanging with the hubby and Aaron (Zachary was in Ohio visiting his girlfriend's family). Had some good meals, saw some movies and rested up. This coming year, I need to take action against the reactionary fever that has taken hold in this country, but we will prevail

Don't know if you've heard about lj servers moving to Russia, but they have, so lots of folks are backing up to dreamwidth in case lj shuts down in the US or to avoid the overlords.

Doing OK now, myself, but after one of the craptasticer holidays in memory. My aunt passed away, and a whirlwind trip to NJ for the funeral and shiva was promptly followed by a stomach virus that sent me to the ER. On the plus side, I now know that my husband is, in fact, a prince - I don't know that I could've handled the situation and its attendant clean-up as well as he did. Then again, he used to be an EMT.

In any event, happy new year to you and yours, and may we all be healthier in 2017. xo

I am so sorry you had to go through all that. A hospital trip on top of a funeral is too much for anybody, imo.

Thanks for the warning about Russia. I'll check out backing up to dreamwidth tomorrow. (but hey, according to the Trumpster, no worries. Putin is our best friend.)

I feel as though I should be more worried about LJ moving the servers to Russia, but as I rarely blog about anything political and actually hardly post these days, I don't think Vlad is going to be very interested in my views on old fandoms. I won't be giving LJ any more money, though.
