Sniper glances up over the top of his glasses at her and gives a half salute with his coffee mug. "G'day."

When the package is placed in front of him he looks down at it confused, and then over at her. He doesn't understand her signing, but he gets the idea that he's supposed to open it.

He looked down at the box and there was almost something like a mile on his face. "That's roight nice of you. Thank's fer that."

Yes he's going to eat it right now. Something along the lines of "snarf snarf omnomnom" is what's happening. You have inadvertently discovered Sniper's weakness.

One of Sniper's secret food loves. Coffee cake. Om nom. Someday Pyro will discover the other one.

"If you say so." He was definitely happy, even though he outwardly wasn't showing it.

"How's your class goin'?"

Chiko rolls. They're like deep fried spring rolls with mutton in them.

"You shouldn't. Th' lot of them are jus' spoutin' off nonsense fer no reason." He grumbled under his breath and reached in his pocket for his pack of cigarettes. But stopped dead when he read what she wrote next.

"I ..." He was entirely unprepared for this sort of situation. "'f all th' people here you wanna be talkin' t' the janitor?"

That was more of a stall while his brain tried to process what was happening right now.
