Title: Grevillea Speciosa (Red Spider Flower)
Author: zombiedethparty
Pairing: Jimmy Sullivan
Rating: G
Summary: Jimmy was simply unique
Disclaimer: Not real, though funny if it was.

Jimmy, or so his little girl gardener called him, was a very strange looking and yet very interesting flower. Over the past few days, he had grown to an exceptional height like all spider flowers did. Roughly, he was standing six-foot-four by now in the blaring heat of the Austrailian sun. His red, tubular petals always looked fairly limp before his human came home from her schooling to water him.

Now it's been said that plants can actually feel when someone sings to them but Jimmy could always feel when Molly's bus came slowly creeping up to the driveway outside of their home. This unique flower felt itself getting anxious for his special time with his little girl. Within moments, Molly had been dropped off from school and rushed inside to get her watering can.

The spider flower felt his own stigma shaking gently within his petals as the little girl came outside to meet him.

"G'day Jimmy. You are looking beautiful as always." She said, a bright smile plastered over her face. "You just keep getting taller and taller every day, yeah?"

As with everyday, the little red petals from Jimmy extend out almost instantly into an extravagant sun shape, a burst of seemingly random energy springing forth. He had felt so alive when the water from the can splashed down next to the ground and soaked into his roots. It was the only way he could communicate with his human. It was the only way he could show her that he loved her for what she did for him.
