the colleges kicked my ass. oh well. i'm pretty sure i'm going to bard, though i've been waitlisted for columbia, uchicago and wesleyan, and haven't heard from amherst. but it's all good. bard=way better than berkeley, ucla, umich or brandeis. i am happy and terrible excited.

It seems like a lot of really intelligent people have gotten waitlisted this year. I'm sad that you won't be going to Uchicago (my dad is probably sad too, hahaaha) but either way you are going to end up somewhere good.

congrats! I got in last year, and i was going to go but then i got into smith and weighed going to school without boys against going to school in the middle of fucking nowhere and smith won. anyway, that's really awesome!!
