You know what I hate? Making plans. Waiting all weekend and then waking up at 5am with a hellya bitch from hell earache. By 8am the pain was so intense the painkillers might as well have been sugar...but by 8:10 the drum perforated. Some relief. About five hours later it started leaking blood which is just gross. I was reading til 2 am. I love love love a story that can sneak in a twist that makes my jaw drop. It topped out somewhere over 500 pages and once I got going I had a difficult time putting it down. Two narrators were used to tell the story and I quite enjoyed that approach ( Read more... )
