I took the AP English exam this morning... hopefully I did well. It really wasn't as bad as I expected; I got through all the essays and multiple choice questions, with a few minutes to spare. It's almost over... alas. Tomorrow we're going to finish painting the trim in my room, which is now a lovely shade of green, and hopefully get new carpeting arranged. I am quite envious of British audiences right now: they already have Pride and Prejudice on DVD. I have to wait... okay, it's only six more days, but still. I want to see it again... it's such a beautiful movie. Yay for Jane Austen!

In preparation for Saturday, I've spent most of the evening reveiwing composers, and learning photographers. Oh, and skimming opera synopses. Last night I read about the Sumerians... So, I've been sitting at the computer all night, despite (or because of) the Super Bowl, but when I heard little Elizabeth singing the pirate song... I'm lucky I didn't break my ankle sprinting into the living room. Ahh!! July 9th!!

So, my Oprah essay is barely 300 words, out of 1,000 maximum. Three AP classes have taught me to keep things concise. And since it's a night-before-it's due effort, this will have to suffice.

Speaking of AP, I have a chapter to read. Drat.
