how hard is it to pick up your feet when you walk, and since when did fuzzy house slippers become an acceptable choice of footwear at the office???

You mean you DON'T enjoy that scraping sounds as someone shuffle's across the floor? I suppose whether or not slippers (all, including the fuzzy kind) is appropriate footwear depends on the office environment. I mean people wear flip-flops in the office and not only are they annoying to listen to, if something falls on your foot, that is pretty much it. Again, that depends on the office environment.

I have been known to wear "soccer sliders" on Fridays, especially if I am not feeling well. It is definitely the exception and not the rule. But, I promise, I pick up my feet when I walk.

ack... considering the offending parties wears flip-flops the other % of time they are at work... it has become like nails on a chalkboard every time they get up to go to the break-room or loo. I work in a "business casual" office (educational supplies sales) so you would think people would give some sort of consideration as to what they wear...the kicker.. the person who does this isn't some youngster at their first or second job.. the person is at least in her late 40's

I am sure you do pick your feet up and don't *scuff scuff scuff* across the floor ;)

If you can't pick up your feet, you'd better be wearing pink bunny slippers!
