I love writing. Writing is one of the few things I truly feel passionate about in my life, and I want to become an author. I've actually just started writing a novel that's been unraveling in my head for about a year, and I'm nearly fifty pages in.
:: finish this sentence 'I wish I had a _______' ::
Popsicle. In fact, I'm going to go get one. I like my life too much to change anything drastic.
Your thoughts
::Thoughts on Abortion::It's sad, but it is often the lesser of two evils in my opinion. I personally wouldn't advise anyone to get an abortion but often times people are so hellbent upon getting one that they will go to any means to do it (including back alley abortions, which are often unsanitary and can cause the mother's death as well).
::Gay Marriages::Gay marriages should be legalized. And not this 'civil union' crap. There is supposed to be a separation between church and state - Congress has no right to apply their personal morals when it comes to the rights of humans. There should be equal opportunity for all, including those of a different sexual orientation.
::labels::Unecessary and stupid, but often times people apply these labels to themselves, which is, in my opinion, one of the stupidest things to do.
::Thoughts on the whole "emo" thing::The music and statement should be respected, but so should all others. Many self-proclaimed 'emo kids' tend to believe that emo is the only music worth listening to, which is stupid. People have their preferences and their styles, but none should criticize the other.
::thoughts on the whole "punk" thing::There's not much to say that I haven't already said. Punk is there to enjoy by those who like it, but there's no need to call others 'posers' or to criticize other styles of music.
::Racism, Sexism, homophobia::Three of the most inherently ignorant words in the English language.
::Current Issues in the World::I'm surprised President Bush hasn't been impeached or assassinated yet. The U.S. soldiers should be pulled from Iraq and Afghanistan. I do believe with all my heart that the Republican party stole the 2000 and 2004 elections, and there's a paper trail a mile freaking long, but whatever. Nobody listens to the conspiracy 'nutjobs', right?
::song that best describes you (or describes you well)::The song "Mexico" by Morrissey pretty much encapsulates my opinions on the world. It talks about the self-absorption and arrogance that most Americans have. We can be perfectly happy so long as we have the new episode of Laguna Beach and our very favorite drink from Starbucks, while there are coffee bean farmers in South America getting paid ten dollars for a day's work to make your caramel frappuccino.
:: at least one picture of yourself ::
I'm in the shnazzy red jacket. And the picture might get cut off at the bottom, so forgive.
