[It was one of those ultra modern designs with low slung furniture in expensive leathers all in neutral tones. Two large paintings hung on the wall of the living room, one a violent arrangement of color in some impressionistic splashes and then a much softer portrait of a mother nursing a baby situated right next to it. They should have clashed but with the neutral grey colors of the walls, they were highlighted as they were no doubt meant to be.]

Kitchen is that way, bedrooms are that way. [Daken indicated the direction and headed down the hallway towards the bedrooms.] I need a shower, there's probably a change of clothing that'll fit you in the closet. Unless you're just in love with your uniform. [The mutant teased with an ironic look over his shoulder.]
