[Shatterstar runs his tongue over his own bottom lip when Daken pulls away, looking pleased. Daken seems to have some experience with this, so 'Star is pretty he's chosen well, though in the back of his mind he feels he maybe should have waited until Rictor was around to go off propositioning perfect strangers (again.) ... Naaah.] If that is what you wish. [Something about the way he glances around for the first time gives the impression that he really wouldn't have minded having sex in public.

He is used to having his entire life broadcast to mass television audiences, after all.] Where, though? [He's thinking that his teleporting won't work with Daken until after they've had sex.]

[The mutant's gaze seemed drawn to the damp line Shatterstar's tongue flickering across his bottom lip briefly.]

Times like this, I miss the seventies. [He muttered under his breath and glanced around the surrounding area they were in. It was one of the 'up and coming' parts of Brookyln, with a bunch of row houses and fancy businesses selling outrageously priced merchandise in their windows. The apartment he'd taken over for the duration of his business trip in New York wasn't too far but he wondered at the wisdom of bringing a known mutant 'superhero' back to his place. Debating quickly whether it was worth the drama, Daken finally decided he could always find some place else to crash if needs be and caught 'Star's hand.]

Come on, my place isn't too far.

['Star laughs; he doesn't entirely get the joke (though he has seen That 70's Show once or twice, so he's not completely oblivious), as he follows after Daken towards the other mutant's apartment.]

[The row-house apartment was pretty unassuming looking; the previous owner having been a deeply closested gay attorney who'd made the mistake of taking Daken home one night. The sociopathic mutant didn't expect the police to find the body in the East river for at least another couple of weeks and considering the dead lawyer was on 'sabbatical' from his firm for a few weeks, no one even thought to report him missing. The situation had worked out well for Daken all around and he lead the redhead up the steps to the beveled glass door granting a distorted view of the narrow hallway and stairs leading up to the second level.] Home, sweet home, [The Eurasian man quipped, unlocking the door and holding it open for the other mutant politely.]
