Picspam: Gyoza Wrappers from Scratch

I've been cutting back on my grocery shopping trips so when I had a craving for potstickers/gyoza, rather than going out and buying a couple of packages of the ready made wrappers, I finally buckled down and decided to make them from scratch using this recipe.

It was much easier to pleat the fresh dough than I thought. I never tried to pleat the ready made wrappers (AFAIR) so I have no idea how hard it is in comparison. The filled gyoza froze well. I ended up with over 4 dozen from a batch of dough ... could maybe have rolled them out a bit thinner as they are thicker on cooking.

It was nice to just pull a half dozen out of the freezer and toss them into a pot of soup stock for home made wontons for 2.

I've never tried with the fresh, only the packaged one. Well done, you!

Thank you. It was surprisingly easy to make the dough and work with it.
