March Baking Round-Up

My nephew offered to pick up a bag of all purpose flour for me on his recent trip to Costco. I wasn't sure if I should say yes, since I haven't been doing as much baking as usual, lately. At least, that's what I THOUGHT

I did. My downstairs freezer was almost empty. It's more energy efficient to keep it full.

I did not know that about freezers - I am always trying to empty ours out -aka- eat what is in there, lol!

The challenge is using up the older stuff and refilling with new at a similar rate. That's why you sometimes need to have a list nearby with item/date and cross off and update.

My mom never labelled her bags of mystery meat etc cause she was going to REMEMBER what it was. Rarely did so often ended up with surprises on thawing. :)
