The simplest Italian pasta dish is spaghetti aglio e olio, pasta with garlic, red pepper flakes and olive oil. If you're on a budget, this is an inexpensive dish when paired with a big bowl of soup and a salad.

Christmas for OneI wasn't going to do anything special this year cause I had a case of the Christmas blahs, but, at the last minute I bought a fresh leg of lamb and roasted it off with rosemary, garlic and olive oil.
