I knew you would take me to task for the unsatisfying almost-sex scene. :P You know, when I was writing this I had no idea it would be torturous to the reader! I know it's sad, but good things come to those who wait. Next chapters will have humor and warm fuzzies, not so bad. So here's what I thought of the actual chapters!
I want to punch Uther in the face. Repeatedly. With bronze knuckles.
I want to punch Arthur in the face too (STOP IT WITH THE EMO AND DO SOMETHING, KILL UTHER OR WHATEVER IDK. YOU CAN STOP THE SHIT FROM HITTING THE FAN IF YOU WANT TO!)
I love Merlin.
I want to hug Kian, I really hope he *is* good and has no ulterior motives.
I miss this Gwen, I love this Gwen.
Also, as for the "herbs" um, that's a huge loophole for her and Arthur. She can always say that her maidenhood was lost while horseback riding, which was not uncommon back then. I just hate that her first time will be with this supposedly generous King who wants to keep her alone at his palace as a trophy wife and is a hunchback. Morgana is going to die if he takes Gwen away from her! So unfair.
I'm glad that you are experiencing the range of emotions I was trying to put into this fic - I'm an emo!whore, and wanted this fic to be multi-dimensional. Frustration, anger, sadness, joy, excitement, suspense, victory!
Oh, Kian is totally innocent, I just wanted to create a Gleanntan version of Merlin, someone cute and cuddly and supportive of Morgana. We learn more about him the next few chapters.

So... A/Mor sex is definitely happening? :D Damn you Arthur for chilling!! If it werent for the fact that A) you pull the most improbable and hilarious battle faces B) you actually shave your beard and C) your face is ridiculously handsome, I'd be very, very mad at you. *frowns*
That said: dude, Uther makes Romans look nice. I hope Morgana and Arthur teach him a lesson or two one of these days :O
