Look, I'm sorry if I offended you, but I can't help what I am. Would you blame a centaur for being part horse? Would you blame a vampire for needing to drink blood?
But they steal blood from the public. Look, as much as I hate admitting this, I'm flawed. I'm sixteen years old and male. That means I tend to think with my other wand. Especially as, unlike my friend Sirius, I haven't been shagging half the school. So while I may fantasize, at least I'm not taking advantage of anyone.
Coming from a totally-not-involved-at-all-and-I-don't-want-to-be-involved person, I'm just going to second Potter's statement that it's his journal, no matter who decides to read it. The Daily Prophet is "public forum" as well, but not everyone chooses to read it.
Journals are still public forums. If the prophet were to post stories about imagining three women doing... things....... I imagine there would be outcries there too. Especially if the women had not been asked for consent on the issue.
Wow. I'm surprised you made a statement with only a few words Hermione. Normally I'd expect a three parchment long essay about the matter. I mean...umm...bloody hell, that didn't come out right.
I thought you'd rather me not list all the problems I've noticed again. Plus, then I would have to caveat that one cannot really judge half of humanity in one fell swoop like that.

However, it's generally considered common courtesy to not discuss such things in mixed company.
Public journal entries can be considered mixed company. Not to mention, these are school-issued journals.
