Is there any reason why my ex would facebook me (with the message, "Hope this doesn't freak you out too much"), and myspace me after we haven't spoken in 2 years...?
It could be that he thought to himself randomly, 'hmm I haven't spoken to Becca in awhile, I wonder how to get in touch with her and what's going on in her life.' Or it could of been that he can't forget about you and is being completely stalkery. What matters more is whether or not you want him to know any of the information you put in those two places - more than likely they're not more than he already knows... but still. He can easily be really stalkerish this way.
But again, it could just be random coincidence and decided (like the rest of America) that facebook and myspace are the easiest way to connect with people.
