I'll be the Grinch. When Mr. Weasley said, "Half our family does seem to owe you their lives...", I happily thought of Ginny sacrificing herself. :D

"Er-my-nee" ... Pathetic attempt at romance, imo.

Ginny hears about the effects of love potion as Harry retells the story many times. Then she hears him say he probably wouldn’t notice Slughorn slipping something in a drink. I have to think she was tempted or considered it since she never really gave up on Harry ( ... )

It’s cute that Harry and Ron both appreciate the way Luna sees things. But Harry thinking that no one in their right mind would let her commentate makes me hope Jo doesn’t put them together in the end. Laughing "at" her is not as far out of the question as I’d like it to be for that. Ron on the other hand wants more Luna commentary, so I’m rooting for Ron/Luna.I guess it depends largely on how much (if any) the boys mature. I read from personal bias as much as the next person, so being a Luna groupie, I guess I gave Harry the benefit of the doubt here - that he was not thinking that in a ridiculing way so much as a completely flummoxed, this-is-SO-not-what-I-expected way. It still wasn't a very nice thing to think, though ( ... )

"Er-my-nee," croaked Ron unexpectedly from between them.

Such a moving moment from this chapter deserves a mention.

Wonderful interaction with Harry and Ron in the hospital wing too.
