What's the deal with Roger Clemens and his trainer? Who's telling the truth and why are they contradicting each other?

When I see the word "pounds" (as in weight) abbreviated as lbs, I say it as "libs" in my head.

I do the same thing with cooking, except I will say those out loud, especially if someone is helping me or in the kitchen. Tablespoon is tibs, teaspoon is tisp.

Poor Nick had just about the worst Christmas I've heard of in a long time. On Christmas eve, his mother was arrested for DWI when she was caught driving on the wrong side of a highway.
