We both know the answer to your last question. And we never really knew how well we had it growing up without cola as an option and how that has made us the healthy indidviduals we are today.

BUT the majority of those things they say coke can do (car batteries, baked ham, rust and corrosion) may be more urban legend than the truth. Case in point: woman called Click and Clack on car talk a WHILE back and asked about it and it got them scratching their head. Car guys as old as they are not hearing of every trick in the book made me believe this one was more myth based than actually practiced. Same with the blood thing.

But shock value will always win!

Huh, mom mentioned the whhole us growing up without cola thing too.
If you want to know a police trick that came from the mouths of the Richmond police in the iron triangle... If you ever get shot, get some tampons (without the applicator) and stick one in each bullet hole, and it will keep you alive till the ambulance comes. My friend (who tests fire alarm systems) was *not* thrilled to have to be told that.
