OK, out of curiosity, can someone give the basics of NaNoWriMo? Is it really feasible to write that much in a month when you're already devoting so much time to watching The Gilmore Girls? Plus, 90210 comes out on DVD in November. Where is there time to write? Does it have to be fiction? Can it be a bunch of haikus about various TV shows

Definitely has to be fiction. You're probably going to have to make some sacrifices. I forgot how much 50000 words comes to per day, but it's intense. You have to try to get some writing in each day otherwise you're cramming it all in on weekends.
