There's always that fear that you're going to start at some really really bad time. Like on a date, when you're wearing a white miniskirt. That week right before your period, you live in a constant state of cat-like fear. Every twinge of pain below your neck -- "Whoa! Was that the egg dropping? Was that it?" Then you run to the bathroom and feel stupid and don't start for another like two weeks.
here's the solution...

you all need to get on birth control so you know exactly when you are going to start and stop. then you no longer live in a suspended state of anxiety and fear...it eliminates all the guess work. granted, most of you may not be having sex, but wouldn't it be nice to go without cramps? you don't even have to answer that, i can see you dialing your gyno's right now.
and no, nope, i am not on birth control because i don't menstruate...isn't that nice? okay, see ya later.

remember that time during AP testing at school, we were talking about our periods and when we were going to have them, and then you go:
"yea, i think i just started mine in there." [so blunt and great.]
and it was me, kate, and kristen. and our response was:
"well...um...are you going to check? are you prepared? what are you going to do?"
"nah. whatever."
probably one of the funniest ashie moments ever. SO YOU!! i loved it. seriously.
