On AIM there should be an option to "Join Chatroom", you might need to right click on the toolbar of it - I'm not sure, I use Trillian to get on messengers. I'm in school right now, but when I get back I'll type something a little more explanatory. XD Sorry about that, guys.

Well! I don't think there's a way for normal AIM residents to get onto the chat, been looking up on it, but I don't think it's a bad idea at all! It is quite fun and interesting and quite filled on madness, people just have to sort of. Friend other people and request to be invited when the chat is going on...? >_____>;

Add yourself to your buddy list if you haven't already. Right click on your name in your list. Click "group chat". At the bottom of the box there's a space for the room name. Put "differentpath" in there. Click to send the invite.
