COMMON ISSUES
CONFUSION;
If you're ever confused of what's going on, who's Who, or how to get your character wedged in, feel free to drop me a line via PM, AIM, or MSN. I'll be happy to help you or get you in touch with whichever mun you need to talk to to make your plot work.
SHYNESS;
Do you have a plot idea that you reallyreally like, but you're afraid to voice it? Well, don't worry, sweetie, we've got you covered. You can drop me a line, and tell me. If you ask me to keep it to myself, or not to say who's idea it was, I definitely will not. Nothing sounds stupid in my ears, so don't be worried about getting embarrased.
Another option is to make an annonymous, screened post in the ANON PLOT POST. This way no one, not even me, will know who made the suggestion.
PLOTTINGS;
Want to plot, but don't know how to get started? Well, there's lots of ways!
• Messenger
Most of the players in this rp have AIM. Feel free to come and poke us and talk about your plot in messenger! Just make sure to give them a heads up on LJ before messaging them for the first time.
• Community
If that's a little intimidating for you, or you rather just prefer LiveJournal, make a post in the OOC community of your plot idea! If it's fairly long, remember to put most (or all) of it under an lj-cut.
ORIGINAL CHARACTERS;
In a universe somewhere out there, Rose Tyler was born as the family pet dog. There's no telling what may or may not happen in other universes out there; who's to say the Doctor and Rose wouldn't have a kid, or Amy and Vincent, or Jack and a poodle? Things happen. Weird, beautiful things. This is the fandom where universes explode, people turn into plastic, and Police Boxes are sexy - and let's not even bring up Six's coat.
So go ahead and bring your OC in, if you want! The only requirement is that they cannot be from the Different Path universe.
FIXED POINTS
The Time War
The Master was recruited to lead the fight against the Daleks by the Time Lords after the Doctor hid himself away at the end of the universe. In the end the Master was forced to use The Moment to end the time war - and destroy Gallifrey in the process.
Rose
In 2005 the Neestine came to London to invade Earth. With no Doctor there to save them, the Master stood by and watched as the maniquins and cars ravished the world. In the middle of the destruction he saw Rose and on the spur of the moment he took her into the TARDIS, sparing her out of the billions of humans.
Are you my mummy?
The Master and Rose dropped in London for a visit during World War II and picked up a pet Jack.
Bad Wolf
One thing led to another and the Master, Rose, and Jack ended up at the Game Station. After discovering there were Daleks still alive, the Master became consumed with a blood lust to the point where he was willing to sacrifice himself if it meant exterminating the Daleks. He sent Rose to a nice planet far away, but she found a way to break open the TARDIS controls and looked into the heart of the TARDIS. She BLEW THEM UP WITH LOVE turned the Daleks to dust, resurrected Jack, and the Master took the TARDIS's consciousness from her with a kiss. In the end he regenerated and flew away -- without Jack.
SYCORAX ROCK.
So the Sycorax came to Earth to rock their socks off, even without the space probe, but were very disappointed when they found out the Neestine beat them to the punch. A newly regenerated Master had a bit of a run-in with them, had a row about the Lion King, and ended up having a sword fight in his jim-jams. He lost a hand and somehow managed to convince Rose he was the same man, just with some new epic sideburns.
Ghost Shift
Despite all the destruction the Neestine wrecked, Torchwood managed to survive. In an attempt to find a way to erradicate the Neestine off planet Earth, Torchwood London began experimenting on a Void Ship they found. Not wanting the universe to explode, the Master and Rose set about trying to put an end to that nonsense. When sealing the void, Rose's grip slipped and she fell into it, along with the Cybermen and Daleks. Forgetting the rest of the universe, the Master ripped the void open again in order to pull Rose back out. He tried to stitch the tear back together as best he could, hiding from Rose the severity of what he had done, and hoped it'd right itself in the end.
Utopia
When refueling the TARDIS in Cardiff, Jack found the TARDIS and gave her a great big hug as she spiraled off to the end of the universe to get the hell away from him. They met Professor Yani. While the Master was plotting to steal Yani's brilliant fruit by the foot wires inventions, Rose opened the fob and TA-DA! Yani was actually the Doctor. The Master tried to kill the Doctor, but Chantho got in away. One way or another, the Doctor ran the hell away from them in a TARDIS (his own, or the Master's). In the end Jack stayed with the Master and Rose.
The Stolen Earth
Well, the Daleks are at it again. They stole the Earth and Rose bullied the Master into saving it. He and the Doctor possibly teamed up, but either way in the process a Hand was born. Instead of the human aspect coming from Donna, it came from Jack. The fresh out of the oven Handy watched as the Master killed all the Daleks without giving them a second chance. Afterward the Master wanted to kick the Hand into a blackhole, but Rose just had to ruin all his fun. So the Hand stayed with the Master, Rose, and Jack and they went along their merry little way.
The Eleventh Hour
So the Master exploded in the TARDIS during regeneration. Nevermind why, I'll explain later. The TARDIS crash lands in little Amelia Pond's backyard with a freshly regenerated Master in tow. While Rose, Jack, and his Hand are stuck in the depths of the TARDIS, he has Amelia cook him things he hates, then he treats them both to fish custard. He finds out about the crack in her wall and takes her back to his TARDIS and spends the next fifteen years raising her as his own.
