Floe is my roommate. I see her all the time. Besides, she's doing this weird thing with her ex that's making me uncomfortable, so I'm not exactly thrilled about heading to the mainland with her where she's going to get all these ideas about French romance and decide to test them out on me.
Really, I want to do something a little lower key than usual this upcoming trip. Even I need a recharge now and then. And I want to share that bookstore with someone that will appreciate it for what it is. You're the only one I know that will.
[And then she takes the phone from her ear and Patchouli can hear her talking to someone else.]
I'm calling it, guys. We still need to get better gear for Trekker before we do this run again. 'Sides, I got something far, far better to be doing than beating my head against those spiders again, ze.

...none of your business who just called me. Later.
[And then the sound of fingers flying over a keyboard is heard before Marisa picks the phone back up.]
A fruitless raid. Our primary tank couldn't make this one and the other one just isn't geared right for it. You caught us at the end of a biobreak ready to give it another go.
Here's another idea: While everyone's watching us play, let's have someone light a wicker man on fire in the middle of the street. Bees in one's eyes optional.
