i have agreed to create invitations and centerpieces
for my grandpa's 80th birthday celebration / family reunion.
figuring it would help quench my desire to do wedding stuff,
i gladly jumped on the opportunity.
to help myself fully jump into this deed,
i made some major purchases.
first, a print gocco.
this little beauty will allow me to print individual invites on my own.
literally, you use a flash bulb to burn your image onto a screen,
you then put ink onto the screen and press it onto the paper.
so, in order to make said images, i bought creative suite 3.
here's the problem. i have NO iDEA how to use this software.
i was so excited to buy it... i was going to create so many amazing things,
but, um, there's a reason people take classes upon classes for such skills.
i don't know why i'm so shocked to not know what i'm doing,
but i just assumed anything could work through trial and error.
trial and error on illustrator, however, has provided a LOT of error.
ehh... help?
