You have to talk to him about it. Yes, it will be hard because he'll start to think maybe his worry was right, but nothing gets better by waiting for it to go away. This is going to be a challenge for him to hear you and not to hear what he thinks you're saying. You have to trust him enough to let him try to handle it. Just let him try. If you can't talk to him about your feelings that aren't so warm and fuzzy then I don't see how you'll be able to stop coming back to feeling trapped down the road.

Very pretty, Whoa-her-lee (I don't know; don't ask). I'm glad you posted. It made me smile in my pants. One of my favorite things to do while winding down is to read a good poem-- so thank you for providing one. I hadn't had that in a while. As for you and Steve, Mr. Berg is brilliantly correct. One weird conversation will save you hours and hours of weird feelings.
