Just a random entry today (or tonight, rather). So, I'm watching TV next door at J&C's Apartment O' Fun, and I start thinking about commercials. When did commercials become entertaining? I HAYTE commercials! As an inpatient person anyway, the drudgery of sitting through the commercials is almost too much. But, I love movies, so I get through it.

I know exactly what you mean. Ads are so sneaky. I sometimes find myself enjoying an ad, and it pisses me off. They think if I like the ad, I'll buy the product without knowing anything real about it. It's presumptuous, but unfortunantely works all to well.

I agree with what you say about commercials. I find myself getting disgusted with them more and more. I do find it is easier to mute the t.v. and ignore what is going on. A lot of times I will lose interest in what is going on and actually pick up a book or call a friend instead. I guess they have to have the flashy, funny commercials to keep our attention.
By the way, I really hate AMC for becoming a commercial filled channel. They claim to show movies for people who like movies, but people who like movies DON'T like having their movies interrupted by Mylanta commercials!
