That's really pitiful and yet - sadly - not surprising at all.

They probably think 'I Saw Her Standing There" was first performed by Tiffany.

It's a lovely song and actually, the band that did the cover really didn't change it up much at all. Naturally, you could still tell the difference, but it's not a BAD cover by any means. Lemmee know if you find it. I can't for the life of me remember what the band's name was.

I'm sure John has flipped completely over several times on multiple occasions. I would place a bet that at most of the kids on the radio did not know, and that a lot of them would probably be like "Jason Lemmon Who?" It makes me very angry.

Hahaha. Doesn't it suck how you get crotchety as you grow older and there's nothing you can do about it? I mean, I agree with your sentiments completely, and would have had the same reaction. You know what this means though - we're not far from talking about how the young kids just don't have any respect these days. (Or, are we already there? AHHHHH!!!!!!!)

HA! Actually, I find myself doing that shit A LOT these days. It really frightens me to think of how quickly I became "that guy." I try desperately to keep an open mind with the kids, but the more I think about it, the more I realize that it's just the cycle of life and these kids will be doing the same thing when they get older. Heh, maybe it's not true, but it helps me sleep at night.

Yeah, I find myself being like that. I have almost accepted the fact that I am old.
