I just had an actually /good/ Omegle RP with someone, and it was Cherik and amazing. Charles was sweet and hurting and Erik was cruel and hurting and then they were adorable.

Then fandom found it. It is now very commonly used as a way to find random other fans to RP with by listing pairings as your interests. The downside is that you have no control over who you RP with, and also people on tumblr like to post their omegle RPs everywhere so that other fans who don't like omegle then whine.
