I felt like I absolutely need to gush about SHADOWPLAY right now.

So, Alice Nine finally started releasing new stuff again this spring, the first of which was their "Daybreak" single in mid-March. And I love that single too, so I'm going to start gushing there.

Mini-rant: I actually got a little annoyed yesterday because someone was being extraneously rude in a video, about how they thought Daybreak and Himitsu were too pop. They dip into a more pop sound sometimes, yeah, but the songs aren't /bad/, and they're still musically interesting and like 18x more meaningful than anything I'd call pop here, y'know?

No, no, sorry, I didn't mean that pop music is all not meaningful, I just meant in the US (where I am) most of our pop is really not very meaningful, and the fact that these people are calling A9 pop to insinuate that it's bad bother me, because even if the song is pop-y in style, it's still /good/.
