The Thor 2 trailer is apparently now out, as WGKT reliably informed me. (I'm not gonna link y'all, the trailer's plastered all over the internet.)

Apparently Portman put up such a bitchfest about having to go back for Thor 2 that I'm hoping she's killed off for that reason alone - won't have to deal with the actress again.

If Loki is killed, I will walk out of the theatre and sob to the skies.

I was a huge fan of Portman when I was younger, but I've gotten really meh about her lately.

I just--I'm alternatively excited and terrified about the Loki thing. On the one hand it's a possible indication they're not just going to dump the Thor/Loki complex relationship to make Loki a villain, but on the other hand NO LOKI DON'T DIE!

I just think it would be such a waste if they killed him off. I feel very similar about Loki as I did about Draco in canon. He's so much more than just 'the villain.'

Based on how popular the character is, I'm guessing they won't entirely kill him, but I'm getting the sense something similar will happen.

Then again, Ianto Jones.
