I have a new-found respect for all of those who have learned to fight without magic. This is my first time being gold-collared, and it's...disorienting, and also a little terrifying, not having the powers that I normally have. My world always has magic flowing through it, so to suddenly lose all of that makes me realize how dependent we are on it. ( Read more... )

yeah, it can be pretty shocking the first time. that's why me and roxas have learned how to help injured people without relying on our magic. we could teach you but it's less pleasant than using magic.
