I'm always on call. Even when there are healers with magic.

I know. But this is gonna be a week we'll really need you. A few of the healers have real medical training but most are just kids, without magic they won't be that much help. From the notes Tsunade took from the last time they ran this experiment, we'll be dealing with toxic barbs, extreme skin rashes, and infected injuries from plant bites. Most of the venoms are paralytic, trying to keep the victims still while the plants consume them. We've got a few antivenoms made up, but we're definitely going to need to send out teams for more samples if many people get bitten.

It's not the first time that I've been here that we've been gold collared. The problem is more that I have plenty of pain killers but not the drugs to reverse poisons.

I'm staying in Tsunade's room right now. As well as notes I've got a few tissue samples from the plants from last time and the ingredients to make a few antivenoms. With more samples we could theoretically protect against all the species, but I've got a feeling we'll be forced to take a more practical approach, finding the plants after someone's been attacked.

I don't have an expanded knowledge in antidotes, but I'm skilled in basic medical care and advanced medical care for that matter.

However, I'm a quick learner. If there are anything we can go by that would help in making antidotes, I can learn.

You'll need it.

We'll need samples from the various plants that people get bit by, specifically venom samples but a good chunk of the plant that looks like the business end will work. Probably safest to wait until someone actually does get hurt before sending out teams to try and get samples of everything, we'd need some way to catalogue each plant species...

I guess we could get someone to try and draw each species up, but we don't have the names of them, so there's really no other way to catalogue.

If we're lucky. No one will actually get injured, but that would be too hopeful. I guess we can only hope that if someone is injured, it isn't severe in anyway.

[There's a guilty look.] I would offer to draw up the plantlife to help, but I no longer can.

Considering how people are already treating it like a jungle vacation? I think we have to be prepared for anything.

That's perfectly fine. I was just thinking out loud.

People take those healers for granted. I don't want them assuming people will be able to magically make them better if they get themselves bitten or poisoned while taking a stroll through the biodome.

Got a reason for talking to me, or did you just want to waste time? You're doing a good job, by the way.

Let them think that, anyone who's dumb enough to mess around in the first place deserves it if they drop dead.

A reason? Well it has been a long time since we talked and I figured I should say hello, like any good friend would do. Is that a problem?

Spoken with all the charm of a true darwinist. Interestingly enough the plants seem to be creeping into the rooms, too. There's really no way to avoid it unless you sleep on the ceiling, or in a coffin or something.

Can we just have a quick recap of how we went from "I want to diembowel you" to "good friends"? Just for reference?

I don't know, they all seem friendly!

Okay, so maybe I lied...

You need to get somewhere safe, quickly. Do you have friends you can stay with for the week?

Tsunade? Is she alright?

harry_b_dresden October 17 2011, 14:41:43 UTC
Hard to say. She's comatose, which could be anywhere from a couple days to a month or so. Whenever thy feel like giving her back. I'm hoping they just wanted their little experiment to have more impact, seeing as she's our resident antivenom expert, and she'll just be back in a few days.

I... alright. [Yeah, right. It's easy to hear the worry on his voice, but it's not like there's much he can do. He just hopes she'll be back soon.]

I. I could try to help read her notes. I memorize things easily so I could be of some help?

I've got a translator, but more help is always... um... helpful?

[Harry clearly agrees with Clark, and the tension on his face is obvious. ]
