Alma padded through the hallways at a brisk pace, the ears on hisprovided clothing bouncing in time with each cheerful step, the boy seemingly unaffected by the odd change in wardrobe. It was a lot different than what he was used to wearing, sure, but Alma was sure he'd never worn something so soft before. It was comfortable and fun to wear, so that couldn't be a bad thing, right?

He was so caught up in his own thoughts of fluffy costumes and bright cloth that he didn't notice the girl coming from the opposite direction toward him until they were nearly on top of each other, skidding to a halt in front of her and offering a bright smile.

"... Hello!"

Jade was lost in her own thoughts as well, but snapped out of her reverie at the greeting. Looking at the source of the sound, she just stared for a minute.

And then lifted up her pirate eyepatch and stared some more.

"H-hi..."

She wasn't sure if it was a fursuit or not. But she was going to get to the bottom of this travesty.

Alma blinked up at her, that smile never leaving his round little face.

"I'm Alma! Are you new? There's lots of new people this week and I've never seen you before, so you must be new!"

Jade smiled back nervously. The bunny suit was probably just like her pirate clothes, right? It wasn't an actual fashion choice, right?? Even though it was a tufty synthetic piece o-- No, new friends come before that!!

"Um, yeah!" Her smile grew wider and more sincere. "I just got here a few days ago. My name is Jade!"
